The birds, the ladder, the painter and their songs
August 2023
Greatorex Street Gallery, London
A duo show with Clemens Grömmer, accompanied by a performance with Sanam Monteiro, story by Niki Kohandel.
A day didn’t go by without someone going to the river to ask the ladder for help, and so our ladder never suffered from loneliness. The ladder was loved by all, and from the outside, it had everything to be happy. But everyday the ladder was moved from one place to another. As it was carried from one house to the next, the ladder looked up in the sky, and it was enraptured by the birds flying high and playing amongst the clouds.
